Emily and Phil come to visit

In January, Emil and Phil came out to Texas to visit us.  We love having visitors!  It was SO sweet of them to spend the time and the money to make an effort just to come and see us.

We took them out to our friend's land to do some shooting with cousins and ride on the four wheelers.
Sean and Phil getting ready to have some fun!

 So serious...

It's comical that Sean is the one showing Phil how to work the quad after his track record. :)

Introducing Emily and Phil to Texas, country style!

Sean got em!

Spencer came out shooting with us, and brought all of his targets out to shoot with.  He has tons of stuff!  It was a blast. Thanks for coming Spence!

Don't mess with me, or Texas.

Sean saved our Christmas tree, so we could burn it out at the land with Emily and Phil. I've never seen a Christmas tree burn before, it was sweet!  Here's a video of it...

Baby Jensen even joined in on the fun.  We missed you Lindsay!

Spencer's turn!

Sean and the boys shooting clay pigeons...

Phil: "watch this!"

One of my favorite pictures of the day.  I really do love him guys...

The next night we took Emily and Phil out to see Aaron, Janene, Savannah, and their new twins!  They couldn't bring out the twins to our family get together, so we brought the guests of honor to them!

The girls with Emily's cute prego belly!

It wouldn't be an official visit to our house without a family get together to party it up!  When I asked Emily what she wanted to do when they got here, she said she wanted to hang out with lots of family.  So that's exactly what we did! :)
Sean and Mikey hanging holding down the couches...

Kayla was either really tired, or really bored...or both. Haha!

 Aunt Elaine loving being Grandma!

Spencer and Jordan chatting it up.

The girls!  Kylie and I are loving on the prego ladies!

 Preston, Kylie's cute little boy.

Aunt Marlys with her sweet granddaughter, Madison.

We had a Mexican fiesta!  Half of these people are wanna-be Mexicans anyways.  Yes, that includes you Aunt Marlys!

Getting ready to start some games...

 We did a "real cousin"pic...psshhhhhh.

Then, all of us who couldn't resist those Packards!  I think this is one of the only pictures that we've gotten EVERYONE in that attended.  We tried the remote button on the camera (hence the massive coffee table eye sore).  And most of the kids were looking too, success!

I love the series of these pictures.  The boys never want to be in the pictures, so we kicked them out. {insert huge sigh of relief from Jordan and Sean, immediately followed by an obvious eye roll from me}.  Boys...

Love Emily's face in this one.

Funny ones, aka the best ones.  Kayla--truly gangsta.

Jordan and Sean took at least 50 pictures of us (of course they thought they were hilarious).  That's what happens when you give the camera to the "non-photographers" of the family.  We'll leave the professional photo shoots to Kylie and Spencer.

 Packards and their games... :)

We ended our fun weekend with a trip out to a fancy restaurant in downtown Dallas.  Phil said he wanted to have a really good steak while he was here in Texas.  So, we asked around and found a great place. Hopefully it measured up to his standards!

I don't know if you can make out the picture, but we saw Brad from The Bachelor while we were there!  Emily and I were a little starstruck.

THEN!! He sat right behind us! I really wanted to go take a picture (because I'm notorious for having zero picture shame) but Sean basically told me I was forbidden to do so.  I refrained, despite my typical annoying/memory capturing self.

Thanks for coming guys!  We love you!!!

When we got home, we found this sweet/funny 'thank you' note.
Love you guys.
