They're definitely getting close to finishing everything, so don't worry there won't be too many updates. Sorry our lives are so boring, we don't have kids to take pictures of...so this is what we have to resort to. :)
This was the first time we went there and the house was locked. So naturally, we broke in...to our own house.
We have light fixtures!
HAHAHA! So this was their attempt at making a raised hearth. Sean grew up having a raised hearth on the fireplace that you can sit on, and really wanted one for our house. They built it 7 BRICKS HIGH. And not only that, the "arch" you see over the top, is completely off centered and leaning to the right. As you can see, it looks ridiculous. Needless to say, after we saw it, we went straight to the office and raised hell. They ripped the whole thing out this week and are redoing it.

Becky this is so exciting!!! I love the picture you posted of fb of the outside. I LOVE it and it looks HUGE!!! How many bedrooms and levels are there?
Thanks dude! It's just one level, it kinda looks like two from the outside because of the elevation. It has four bedrooms, but we're converting one into a study. You and Ry will have to come to Texas to check it out! :)
Oh my hell, that hearth is hilarious!! We had a raised hearth in Chicago and loved it. So many photos of the kids sitting there. :)
It's coming along so great! Can't wait to see the finished project.
