We decided to do a bus tour through the cruise in Sicily, and it turned out great. There was a little drive from the port into the city, so it was nice to just sit back and relax and have someone tell us about the island. These are some of the pictures from the bus ride.
This was a cool little restaurant in the main square of the city.
There was a lot of really cool architecture in Sicily, and I loved all the cobblestone and steps they had throughout the city.
There was a local selling umbrellas right when we got off the bus, and he made a killing that day!
It's hard to see in the picture, but the views were amazing from the top of the mountains!
Check out how small their alleys were!
One of the coolest things we saw in Sicily was the ancient theatre in Taormina.
Our tour guide told us that it's the second largest outdoor theater in all of Sicily.
So pretty...
Our tour guide told us that they still have concerts there! A lot of the seats are still intact, and it has a great view too.
They had tons of great shopping in Sicily. The shops are at the perfect location in the city too. They lead right up to the mountain, so you had to walk right next to them to get through the city. Perfect for tourists like us. :)
Everything was so amazing, I wanted to buy it all!
Look at this cute little embroidery shop.
This lady was adorable, she was just sewing away in her shop!
I may or may not have been hogging the umbrella most of the day. It's hard to share!
Silicy, we loved you!
More shopping?!
After our tour, we had some free time so we decided to hike up to this sweet church at the highest point of the island. When I say hike, I mean literally hike...Sean was adamant about not getting a cab...for what reason I'll never know.
Checking out the views!
We made it to the top! Hallelujah.
Not the best picture of me, but the views were to die for. I thought I was going to get taken by the guys I asked to take this picture for us.

Meanwhile, back on the ship that night...
It's time to stuff our faces! I love relaxing while people tote me around the world!
That night on the ship we celebrated my birthday. It was also Katie's, one of the girls at our table, birthday too! We got a joint birthday song and some delicious cake. The best part about the song was the waiters didn't even remember either of our names, haha!
Check out the funny Bday song.
Last view of Sicily, simply beautiful. What a great day exploring, and an amazing night on the ship!
