Mediterranean Cruise, day one!

Sean and I love going on cruises, I'm sure that's not a surprise to anyone.  We're both convinced it's the best way to vacation.  It's a lazy person's dream.  You show up, people feed you, entertain you, you fall asleep and wake up in a new and amazing location, the list could go on.  This is our fourth cruise together, and by far the best yet!  It was our longest cruise thus far; so we were both a little nervous, but of course we loved it!

The first day we sailed to Sicily, Italy, the second day we were on the Sicilian island all day.  The third day as a cruising day, which sounds bad because you're not getting off the ship, but it was actually glorious.  We were SO exhausted from traveling overseas and couldn't really rest because we only had 2 days in Rome, so we felt like we had to soak up every minute.  So the day of relaxing was perfect.  Sean and I both sleep really well on cruises.  We like to get the rooms without windows (I know it sounds weird, but they're actually the cheapest too), they're super dark, and the boat kind of rocks us to sleep.

The fourth day we went to Athens, Greece.  The fifth day we went to Ephesus, Turkey.  The sixth day we went to Crete, Greece. The seventh day was a cruising day, again much needed.  We got back to Rome on the eighth day, and headed to Milan to watch the soccer game!

Sean's favorite part about cruising is the unlimited amount of amazing fruit (surprise, surprise).  Not only is it delicious and unlimited, but we discovered on our honeymoon cruise that they have free room service too!  So not only can you stuff your face with endless amounts of food, but you can be as lazy as you want and not even have to leave your room!  Glorious.

I'm always cold, so I love the endless amounts of hot chocolate they have in their little cafes.  Also, they had herbal tea on this one!

Our ship!  By far the biggest and nicest one we've been us thus far!

And of course, we always love the 'towel animals' our room attendant makes for us.

Our first night of stuffing our faces!

Sean trying something delicious.

I'm a little annoyed with myself that's it has taken me so long to blog about our big vaca, but better late than never I guess!  Thanks to everyone for being so patient with me. :)  It was such a fun cruise, and this post is just the start!
